Warren Township
Earns High Marks
The Indiana Department of Education has established a new model for judging school effectiveness, known as the growth model. The model uses a statistical method to determine how much change in ISTEP scores is equal to one year of student learning. It answers the question, "How much did a student learn in a school year?" Please read the Indianapolis Business Journal article Urban Schools Rising in the August 23-29, 2010 issue. In that issue, Warren Township Schools ranked first in the state in growth in math and fourth in English growth among 294 school districts.
