Good evening, this is Rich Shepler, principal of Warren Central High School.  I want to thank the entire Warrior family for the work that is being put in to make this year successful.  I am so proud of our teachers, counselors and academic coaches for adjusting and working tirelessly to serve our students and I am so thankful for all of our students and families for navigating this journey with us.

We are experiencing some additional growing pains with our new student information system. There may appear to be errors with your student’s mid-quarter one grade. We are working to fix this as soon as possible. Please know this is not a reflection of your child’s performance or anything that our teachers are not doing. If your student’s midterm grades are not displaying correctly, you can contact your student’s teachers for a progress update.

As we near the end of the first nine weeks, I would like to remind families that high school students will not be able to make a change from  In-Person to Virtual or Virtual to In-Person until the second semester.  We will begin gathering these requests after we return from fall intersession.

September 14th-18th is Bullying Prevention Week.  Do not be a bystander.  If you see something, say something!

Additionally, next week is Pink Week, if you are attending one of our athletic events please show your Warrior Pride by wearing your Warrior Pink.

As we prepare for another great week, please be reminded this week will start with a Gold Day on Monday. Gold day students should attend in person and Black day students will work from home.  Please screen students daily for COVID 19 symptoms. Students experiencing symptoms should stay home and parents or caregivers should contact the cohort office with that information.

As always, please check your email, the Warren Township app, and social media for continued updates.

Thank you and have a good evening.
