ELEMENTARY VIRTUAL LEARNING

Warren Township will continue to offer a virtual learning option for our Kindergarten through 4th grade students in the 2021-2022 school year as an accommodation and support for our students, parents, and caregivers who are navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. Enrollment to the K-4 virtual program is limited to a select number of students. Elementary virtual learning students will be part of the Hawthorne Elementary School campus.

  • Students will have daily access to virtual teachers and instruction

  • Students will participate in a morning block or afternoon block of synchronous (live) instruction.

    • AM Time - 8:00am - 11:00am

    • PM Time - 12:15pm - 3:15pm

  • Students will be assigned work to complete outside their AM/PM class times.

  • Attendance will be taken every day based on their participation in Zoom (virtual) lessons.

INTERMEDIATE/MIDDLE SCHOOL VIRTUAL LEARNING

Warren Township will continue to offer a virtual learning option for our 5th through 8th grade students in the 2021-2022 school year as an accommodation and support for our students, parents, and caregivers who are navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. Enrollment to the 5th-8th virtual program is limited to a select number of students. All three Intermediate/Middle Schools will have virtual learning options available for their school community.

  • 5th and 6th grade students will have live, synchronous instruction daily.

    • Students will follow a daily routine that follows a schedule of courses with a teacher who teaches English Language Arts and Social Studies and a different teacher who teaches Math and Science.

  • 7th and 8th grade students will have a schedule built for them by their grade level counselors.

    • Students will have a daily schedule of classes, with live synchronous daily instruction in English Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.

  • All 5th through 8th graders will take Elective classes offered on Edmentum.

  • Attendance will be taken every day based on their participation in Zoom (virtual) lessons.

HIGH SCHOOL WARREN ONLINE ACADEMY

Warren Township will offer an online learning option for our 9th through 12th grade students in the 2021-2022 school year as an accommodation and support for our students, parents, and caregivers who are navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. Enrollment to Warren Online Academy is limited to a select number of students. Warren Online Academy leadership, counselors, and teachers will be located at our Renaissance Campus.

  • Students will receive a personalized Online Success Plan (OSP).

  • Students will be scheduled into 2-3 Edmentum courses, allowing students to successfully complete courses and earn credits every 6-8 weeks.

  • Students will be required to attend weekly check-in with teachers.

  • Students will be able to fully participate in athletics/extracurricular activities if academically eligible.

  • Students will be able to participate in Walker Career Center Programs.
