Liberty Park Elementary Selected as National PTA School of Excellence

Amazing News!  Liberty Park Elementary School received word today that they were selected as a National PTA School of Excellence!  This award is in recognition for their commitment to a strong Family-School Partnership! Only 3 other schools in Indiana were chosen for this honor. We would like to recognize our PTA Board, PTA President Kathryn Basham, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Lodato, staff, students, families, and community members for their parts in helping Liberty Park be chosen for this special recognition.

Walker Career Center is STEM Certified!

On June 26, 2015, the Indiana Department of Education was excited to announce the Walker Career Center (WCC) as part of the very first cohort of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Certified Schools! WCC exemplifies a highly non-traditional approach to education by employing inquiry, project based learning, community engagement, entrepreneurship, student centered classrooms, and out-of-school STEM activities. WCC went through a rigorous application and review process in order to be awarded FULL STEM Certification.

Congratulations to the WCC faculty and staff as well as the entire district of MSD Warren Township!
