Superintendent Update - March 6, 2024

March 20, 2024

Good afternoon, Warren Scholars, Families, and Staff,

We have two important announcements for the week of March 20th.

Just a reminder that our Family and Caregiver Survey is open until this Friday, March 22nd. We very much value your feedback and input. Thank you to those who have already completed the survey and for those who have not, you can find your school’s survey by visiting bit.ly/MSDWarrenSurvey. If you would like a paper copy of the survey to complete, please contact your child’s school, and they will send one home with your child.

As we head into our 2-week intersession break, I want to wish all of our students and staff a much-deserved spring break. I am very proud of the progress we have made this school year and looking forward to a strong finish to the 23-24 school year. Please remember that our spring break will be extended with an elearning day on Monday, April 8th because of the Great North American Eclipse taking place here in central Indiana. Your student will receive either a hard copy of their assignments if they are in Kindergarten through 8th grade while high school students will receive their assignment through Canvas. All students will also receive a pair of Eclipse glasses. While this is a once-in-a-lifetime event, please use extreme caution when viewing the eclipse. More information on the eclipse can be found linked here

Thank you for your continued investment in Warren scholars, schools, and staff. Enjoy the rest of your week and spring intersession break, and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, April 9th.

Together, #WarrenWill create Joy in the Journey!

Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township
