Thank you, everyone, for your patience and support these past couple of days with the weather. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and make adjustments to ensure the highest level of safety for our students and staff!
Yesterday, the Indiana Department of Education released the 2025–2026 third-grade IREAD results, and I am incredibly proud to share that Warren Township continues to set a new standard for student achievement.
This year, our third-grade IREAD pass rate increased to 84.4%, representing nearly 2 percentage points of growth from last year. Even more exciting, four of our elementary schools—Brookview, Grassy Creek, Lakeside, and Liberty Park—achieved pass rates of 90% or higher. We look forward to celebrating all of our schools at the August 19th School Board Meeting!
This type of consistent progress does not happen by accident. It reflects the exceptional work of our students and staff, along with the tremendous support and partnership of our families.
We are excited to continue building on this momentum as we prepare our second- and third-grade students for this year’s IREAD assessment in March! All of our elementary schools, along with Warren Online Academy, will be hosting a Family Literacy Night. We invite our families to join us to learn more about IREAD, discover how we are helping students grow as confident and proficient readers, and explore simple and engaging ways to support reading at home. We look forward to partnering with our families as we help every Warren student become a successful reader! Please look for your child’s Literacy Night date and time in the schedule below. If you are not able to attend, please reach out to your child’s teacher for more information.
