Warren Central's Sunday Night Message

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor proud principal of Warren Central High School calling with a few updates and reminders.

We are excited to welcome families into the building this Thursday, August 10th, from 5:30-7:30 for our Back To School Night. Thursday you will have an opportunity to tour the building, visit your students' classrooms, meet teachers and other staff who support our students, find out about the variety of clubs and programs offered here at WCHS, and participate in grade level specific meetings. Our newly built Warriorville bookstore will be open and our athletic staff will be available selling discounted Pit Passes, family passes, and season passes. Please join us. You will enter through Door 1 or Door 21.

We have had a successful completion of the first 7 days of school. Students and staff are adjusting to our new building space and increased expectations around what it means/looks like to be a successful student at Warren Central High School. I appreciate your support in helping reiterate our expectations around attendance, dress codes, cell phone policy, and overall classroom/hallway behavior. What we know to be true is as students get more comfortable with the space, their classes,  and other students we sometimes see behaviors shift away from our CORE expectations. Please help us by regularly reminding your student that this is a place/space for learning and all rules and expectations are in place to keep them safe and provide the best learning environment possible.

Finally, please note that Warren Central High School is a drug free environment. Students in possession of drugs of any kind, students found under the influence, students engaged in any illegal activity involving drugs or drug paraphernalia are subject to school issued consequences and beyond. Please help us keep our building drug free.

As always thank you for allowing us to serve you and your students. Let's continue to make the 23-24 school the best ever!

Have a great evening.
