Warren Central High School's Sunday Night Message

Good Evening, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!

I wanted to thank all of our Warren families that joined us this past Thursday for Back To School Night. This was a great evening that allowed students to introduce parents/guardians to their teachers and to showcase some of our new spaces. We will continue throughout the year to have opportunities for families to be in the building. As we enter into our 3rd full week of school students should be acclimated to the space and to school expectations. Please help us by ensuring your student understands the importance of arriving at school on time, being in class on time, showing Civility, Order, Respect, and Excellence in the hallways and classrooms, and the importance of being active participants in their own learning. Teachers, staff, and administrators are here to support all of our students and are available via email or phone.

This week we will see the official start of our athletic season as many of our teams will have their first official game either at home or away. As student-athletes and/or performers the expectation is that we continue to show C.O.R.E. on the field, court, and/or stage. Continued participation in extracurricular activities is dependent on student grades, behavior, and attendance. Your support in enforcing all of our expectations is greatly appreciated.

I am so excited for the class of 2024 as they will be the 100th graduating class out of Warren Central High School. As we celebrate "100 Years of Excellence" as a high school we also want to help keep our seniors motivated and their eyes on the prize graduation! This Friday all seniors will have the opportunity to participate in a "Senior Sunrise". Seniors may report to the stadium at 6:30 am with blankets and watch the sunrise with their fellow seniors. We will have a light breakfast, some fun activities, some guest speakers, and just a fun fellowship with the class of 2024. IDs must be presented to enter the event. Please encourage your seniors to participate. The more senior participation now the more activities we can plan for in the future.

Again, it has been a great start to the year and I only anticipate greater things to come.

Have a great evening.
