WCHS

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!

Let the countdown begin! We have officially 15 days remaining in the semester. Summer is knocking at our door, and these final weeks are critical. Students should be buckling down to ensure they finish the year on track. While “on track” may look different depending on the student and grade level, our shared goal is a successful end to the school year for every student.

Students should be present, on time, and actively engaged in their learning each day. While we hope students have been invested in their success all year, we know these final weeks are especially important. Now is the time to turn in assignments, complete projects, and prepare for tests and finals. The goal is simple: don’t leave any credit on the table, earn what is needed toward graduation or advancement to the next grade level.

Please continue to utilize the resources available. We encourage students and families to reach out directly to teachers and counselors with any questions or concerns.

Thank you to everyone who attended Saturday tutoring! Additional sessions will be held on May 9 and May 16 from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM in the Media Plex, with support available in multiple subject areas. Weekday tutoring also continues on Mondays and Thursdays after school through May 14. Taking advantage of this extra help can make a big difference—there is still time to improve grades.

Yearbook distribution for students who purchased one will take place May 12–14 during lunch or in room G104. A limited number of extra yearbooks will be available for purchase for $100 while supplies last. Students can also pre-order next year’s (2026–2027) yearbook for $55, with prices increasing at the end of the school year.

As always, student safety remains our top priority. Please continue to remind students: if you see something, say something, and to follow CORE expectations at all times.

Let’s work together to make these final days of the school year safe, productive, and enjoyable for all.

Have a great evening!
