Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!

We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to Warren Central High School!

Our Freshman First Day is designed to help students begin their high school journey with confidence. This special day gives our 9th grade students the opportunity to:

  • Learn their class schedule

  • Walk through the building and locate each classroom

  • Meet their teachers and classmates

  • Become familiar with school expectations and routines

The day will begin with breakfast and a welcome meeting in the Fieldhouse. Students will also be provided lunch and will attend during our regular school hours from 7:20 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Car Rider Information:

  • Students may be dropped off at Door 21 between 6:45 a.m. and 7:15 a.m.

  • Students arriving after 7:15 a.m. should be dropped off at Door 1.

Friday, July 31 will be a full day of school for all students. As we begin the new school year, attendance remains one of our highest priorities. We encourage every student to start the year strong by being present, on time, and actively engaged in learning each day.

New Indiana Cell Phone Law:

Beginning on the first day of school, Warren Central High School will implement Indiana's new wireless device law. Students are expected to have cell phones, headphones/earbuds, smartwatches, and all other non-school-issued wireless devices powered off and securely stored in a backpack, purse, or other personal bag before entering the building. We appreciate your partnership in reinforcing this expectation with your student before they arrive at school each day.

Transportation Reminders:

If you have questions about student drop-off procedures, please review this Sunday's family newsletter, which includes a visual map of our car rider drop-off route.

Families of bus riders should also watch for a phone call from their bus driver with your student's pick-up and drop-off times. Please allow a 10-minute grace period before and after your student's scheduled pick-up time, especially during the first few days of school.

For all transportation questions, please contact the MSD Warren Township Transportation Department at 317-532-2820.

We are looking forward to an outstanding school year and cannot wait to welcome everyone back for the 26-27 SY.

Thank you for partnering with us to ensure a successful start to the 2026-2027 school year!
