WCHS

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past Thursday for Back-to-School Night! I hope you had an opportunity to visit classrooms, meet and greet teachers, learn more about class expectations, and discover the many extracurricular opportunities, supports, and resources available to your students.

As we continue to push forward through the school year, I’m pleased to announce that tutoring will officially begin this Monday, August 17! Tutoring will be offered most Mondays and Thursdays from 2:45–3:45 p.m.

Students staying for tutoring should report to the West Cafeteria by 2:10 p.m. Tutors will pick students up at 2:45 p.m. While students are waiting, supper will be provided at no cost to all students.

Please note that there will be NO bus transportation for tutoring. Students staying for tutoring should make arrangements for a ride home. Parents/guardians picking up students should meet them at Door 21 at the conclusion of tutoring.

Please encourage your students to take advantage of this opportunity! Tutoring provides students with additional academic support and can help ensure they remain on track toward their academic goals.

Finally, I want to thank our students and families for their continued support of our no-device policy. We are still seeing most of our students doing an excellent job adhering to the expectations. Thank you for reinforcing these expectations at home and helping us create an environment where students can focus on learning.
