WCHS Renaissance

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School and the Renaissance School.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past Thursday for Back-to-School Night! I hope you had an opportunity to visit classrooms, meet and greet teachers, learn more about class expectations, and discover the many extracurricular opportunities, supports, and resources available to your student.

Mental Health Support

If you are interested in mental health services and support for your student, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to the school or your student’s counselor. You can find your student’s counselor listed in the Sunday night newsletter.

If your student previously participated in services through Gallahue Mental Health Services with Community Health, please note that we have transitioned to a new partner,  Jane Pauley Community Health Center. In order for your student to continue receiving services, you will need to complete the Jane Pauley-specific intake/welcome packet. If you have questions or need assistance with this process, please reach out directly to the school.

Chromebooks & Classroom Learning
Students should bring their Chromebooks to school every day. Classroom instruction includes a combination of direct instruction, collaboration, and learning through online platforms. Please help us ensure that your student arrives each day prepared and ready to actively participate in learning.

Attendance Matters!
Attendance continues to be a priority at Renaissance. As our students work toward their academic and personal goals, one of the most important ways they can reach those goals is by  being present every day and ready to learn.

If your student will not be attending school, please remember to  call the attendance line to report the absence

.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for all you do to help us support our students.
