Warren Central High School's Sunday Night Message

Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor proud principal of Warren Central High School calling with a few friendly reminders and updates!

Our first ever "Senior Sunrise" was a success.  It was exciting to see our seniors show up and celebrate together as the Class of 2024! I look forward to many more opportunities to celebrate the successes of all students. Additionally, we had our first official home football game of the season. Thank you to all those who showed up to support our Warriors and recognize our Seniors for senior night. Friendly reminder that in order for students to enter the game they must have their physical IDs on a lanyard and around their necks. We will continue to hand out IDs as they come in. Again our new enforced ID policy is just an additional safety measure being taken to ensure we know who is present in our home stands. Thank you for abiding by our expectations.

Tutoring will officially start this week. We will hold tutoring on Tuesdays from 2:30-4:45 and on Thursdays from 2:30-3:45. I am excited to report that bus transportation for those attending tutoring will be available on Tuesdays only. Students needing to leave prior to 4:45 on Tuesdays will need to provide their own transportation. Please note that tutoring on Thursdays ends at 3:45 and there is NO bus transportation provided. Students will need to have rides pick them up at 3:45 at Door 21. Tutors will be available in all subject areas. Please reach out with any clarifying questions.

Finally, please note that the safety and security of students and staff is our number one priority. We ask that you continue to have conversations with your students about showing Civility, Order, Respect, and Excellence at all times. Fighting is prohibited and those found instigating fights, participating in fights, or engaging in inflammatory actions may lose the right to attend school at WCHS. Our goal is to provide a safe and secure learning environment for all. I encourage students if they see something to say something and to utilize the adults in the building if they are in need of any assistance. Again, thank you for your help with ensuring our students and staff are safe.

Have a great evening!
