Dr. Sullivan

MSD of Warren Township is excited to welcome Dr. Michael Sullivan to the district leadership team as Assistant Superintendent of Grades 9–12+.

With over 30 years of experience in education, Dr. Sullivan is an impactful leader prepared to continue guiding our 9-12+ grade programs and schools. Supporting Warren Central High School, Walker Career Center, Warren Online Academy, the Renaissance School, and Warren Adult Education.

A deep passion for student success, equity, and the power of lifelong learning has shaped Dr. Sullivan's educational journey.

His experience in a variety of roles as a teacher, administrator, and various leadership positions—including Secondary Director, Director of Curriculum, Chief Academic Officer, Assistant Superintendent, and Interim Superintendent provides him with a comprehensive understanding of K–12 education and the unique needs of students at every stage of their educational journey.

Dr. Sullivan is focused on advancing the district's mission and ensuring high-quality educational experiences for all students. He is building on Warren's strong foundation by expanding opportunities and deepening support for both students and staff. At the high school level, this includes broadening access to AP, dual credit, and career pathways, while continuing to strengthen academic and social-emotional supports and empowering students to help shape school culture through advisory groups. Warren Online Academy will continue to evolve with more flexible, personalized learning options and enhanced mentorship opportunities. At Walker Career Center, Dr. Sullivan will support ongoing efforts to connect students with high-demand careers through work-based learning, internships, and industry-recognized certifications. The Renaissance School will continue building on its restorative and trauma-informed practices. Adult Education will continue to grow access to workforce training and certifications, English language acquisition, and digital literacy programs.
