Today, we celebrate and honor our Nation’s lasting emblem, our great American flag. To commemorate the adoption of our flag, the Congress designated June 14 of each year as “Flag Day” and requested that the President issue an annual proclamation calling for its observance.

Congratulations to the Raymond Park Science Olympiad Team. They were able to qualify for the National Science Olympiad competition that was held at Cornell University. They were one of 60 teams from around the nation that qualified to attend. Hannah West and Wyatt Ott placed 6th in the event "Crime Busters" and coach Luke Gobel was recognized with the "Lockheed Martin Coaching Excellence Award" Raymond Park Science Olympiad has had a great year competing in 10 competitions, winning regional's, and being named state runner-up. Raymond Park placed 28th at the National competition, and look forward to earning a spot again next year!
